<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle headlamp capable of achieving at low cost an improved visibility to an overhead sign, and achieving an appropriate irradiation to a region between a light distribution pattern for overhead sign irradiation and a cut-off line. <P>SOLUTION: A brightness and darkness boundary formation board 41 of plate shape extending from near the rear focus F2 toward the rear slanted downward is arranged between a projection lens 18 and a light source 12a arranged at the rear side of the rear focus F2. A brightness and darkness boundary forming part 41C which cuts off a part of the reflection light from a reflector 34 for reflecting frontward the direct light from the light source 12a and forms a cut-off line CL of the light distribution pattern is formed at the front end part of the brightness and darkness boundary formation board 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
