<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate installation of a splicing/branching point of an optical cable without being hindered by existing cables wired in a small space. <P>SOLUTION: This splice box 1 is provided with a body 2 mountable on a wall and a cover 3 covering the body 2 from the front, and has an oblong duct shape as a whole. The body 2 is integrally equipped with: a base 7 folded nearly in a U shape in the cross section, the front face of the base 7 being used as a wiring part 6; and a pair of installation legs 8 projecting from both edges in the width direction of the base 7 toward an installing plane. Between the installation legs 8, a space 18 is formed so as to extend over the entire length of the body 2 and existing electric/communication cables 104 are housed in the space 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
