PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent optical transmission performance from deteriorating due to reflection of light. SOLUTION: An optical splitter includes: an optical fiber 5 which is composed of clads 51, 53 and a core 52 as an optical path; a splitter section 7 which is composed of clads 71, 73 and a core 72 as an optical path, which is mounted on the same substrate 2 as the optical fiber 5, and of which the end face is connected to the end face of the optical fiber 5 so as to perform optical path coupling; and an optical waveguide 9 which optically connects respective cores 52, 72 in the coupled part of the optical paths between the optical fiber 5 and the splitter section 7.
