PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience and to relax limitations on system operations by eliminating use limitations on services to a user who uses a mobile terminal that does not correspond to a mail box operation function and a mobile terminal (3G mobile terminal) that is not mounted with a mail box operation function in the future. SOLUTION: This mobile communication system is provided with a mail web server (MWEB) 12 for receiving an HTTP request from a mobile terminal (UE) 1, generating a web image for operating a mail box (MMBOX) 14 and returning the generated web image as an HTTP response to the mobile terminal (UE) 1, wherein the mobile terminal (UE) 1 is allowed to access the mail box (MWEB) 12 storing multimedia messages by the generated web image. Consequently, operations can be performed, such as the acquisition, browsing, erasure and transfer of a list of multimedia messages and reception notification retransmission.
