PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of the data reception and reception of a satellite signal in both of the case of reception by one of two antennas and the case of reception by the other antenna. SOLUTION: This wireless communication apparatus includes: first and second antennas 2A, 2B; a first reception circuit 6A connected to the first antenna 2A and applying reception processing to a received wireless signal; a second reception circuit 6B connected to the second antenna 2B and applying reception processing to a received wireless signal; and a switching means 4 for switching the first antenna 2A and the second antenna 2B; and furthermore a satellite reception circuit 7 for applying reception processing to a satellite signal received by one of the antennas connected via the switching means; and a means (a control/processing circuit 8) for receiving a signal from the reception circuit 7, applying signal processing to the signal, receiving the satellite signal from the satellite reception circuit 7 and applying signal processing to the satellite signal.
