PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information relay system capable of simply and inexpensively performing communication and collection of required information, making the best use of the property an operation configuration like a bus on a regular route composed of mobile terminal which is a bus on a regular route a simple fixed terminal which is a bus stop, and a fixed main terminal like a bus center or a main bus stop. SOLUTION: A plurality of information nodes 10 are distributed and installed in a predetermined area and cannot perform mobile transmission. A moving body 7 mounted with an information relaying device 20 travels within the predetermined area, as a means for realizing information transmission between the plurality of information nodes 10. The relaying device 20 receives information at the point of 10a when it approaches to a transmitting node 10, and passes the information at the point of 10b when it approaches to a receiving node 10.
