PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reiteration of an operation state and a halt state in temperature control in a disk drive device. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 140 senses the temperature of a disk drive device 100. A temperature control part 130 holds the temperature state inside and determines the new temperature state from the temperature state and the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor 140. This temperature state has a hysteresis characteristics, after transmitting to the high temperature state exceeding a temperature A, while not falling from a temperature B lower than the temperature A, it is not released from the high temperature state. Similarly, after falling from a temperature D and transiting to the low temperature state, while not exceeding temperature C higher than the temperature D, the state is not released from the low temperature state. In the high temperature state or the low temperature state, a disk control part 120 stops the operation of the disk drive device 100. Moreover, when power supply is turned off, the temperature state is saved in a previous information preservation part 150, and is restored when the power supply is turned on.
