PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device which can be downsized with respect to a recording medium driving device. SOLUTION: In the disk device 100, a disk processing part 20 is provided near an insertion/ejection port 14 and a disk guide arm 53 for guiding transport of an optical disk 1 is freely rotatably provided further on the side of a left wall 10B of the disk processing part 20. The disk guide arm 53 is rotated near to the left wall 10B side while the optical disk 1 is clamped to a turn table 23 of the disk processing part 20. Thus, during the disk clamp, interference of the disk guide arm 53 and disk processing part 20 can be prevented and right and left widths can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
