PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which can eliminate adverse influences on a liquid crystal display panel caused by the stress of an adhesive used for fixing the liquid crystal panel and is excellent in heat dissipation property. SOLUTION: Pixel electrodes (not shown) are formed on a silicon substrate 1a, counter electrodes (not shown) are formed on a glass substrate 1b, and both substrates are stuck to each other through a sealing member 2 in a shifted position so as to supply potentials to the electrodes. The liquid crystal display panel 1 is arranged and fixed to a circuit board 3 by an adhering means 6. The adhering means 6 has an adhesive face in a form almost two-dimensionally identical to the sealing member 2 and is disposed under the silicon substrate 1a at the position opposing to the sealing member 2.
