PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a hydraulic actuator inside a piston to be certainly returned to an immobile state by discharging rapidly working oils in oil paths inside a connecting rod to a crank chamber when a directional control valve is changed over to make the oil paths communicate with an oil reservoir. SOLUTION: There is provided the hydraulic actuator controller in which the connecting rod 7, a crank shaft 9, one ends of a series of the oil paths 59 provided in a crank case 3 that supports the crank shaft 9 are connected with hydraulic actuators 45<SB>1</SB>, 45<SB>2</SB>provided in the piston 5, and oil chambers 52<SB>1</SB>, 52<SB>2</SB>and further the other ends of the oil paths 59 are connected with an oil reservoir 62 and an oil pump 61 via a main directional control valve 60. In the hydraulic actuator controller, the connecting rod 7 is provided with an auxiliary directional control valve 65 that opens a down stream side continued into the oil chambers 51<SB>1</SB>, 52<SB>2</SB>of the oil paths 59 toward an inside of the crank case 3 when the oil paths 9 are allowed to communicate with the oil reservoir 62 by a main directional control valve.
