PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid structure of a storage part for an automobile whereby an obverse surface panel and a reverse surface panel can be welded together easily and securely through a vibratory welding process. SOLUTION: A lid 2 to open and close the opening in the storage part 1 formed in an instrument panel 6 of the automobile has the obverse surface panel 3 and the reverse surface panel 4 combined with the reverse side of the obverse surface panel 3, wherein the reverse surface panel 4 is furnished with fusion attaching pieces 41 to perform fusion attachment with the obverse surface panel 3 while the obverse surface panel 3 is furnished with a mounting arm 5 rigidly, and a plurality of welding places for the welding pieces 41 are prescribed except the neighboring area of the mounting arm 5, and an engagement part 31 is formed to guide in the vibrating direction, and the fusion attaching pieces 41 are furnished with a reinforcing rib 42 for precluding falling in at the time of welding, so that it is possible to weld together the obverse surface panel 3 and the reverse surface panel 4 easily and certainly through the vibratory welding process.
