PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method for a robot control device and the robot control device. SOLUTION: A left side plate 102 of an additional casing 100 is provided with a vent hole W3 opposite to a vent hole of a body controller, and a right side plate 103 of the additional casing 100 is provided with a vent hole W4. A lower mount 110 is provided in a position opposite to the vent hole W3 in the additional casing 100, and a ventilating part 113. Further, an upper mount 114 is provided in a position opposite to the vent hole W4 in the additional casing 100, and a ventilating part 119 is formed. The lower and upper mounts 110, 114 are provided with air holes 112, 116 formed opposite to each other, whereby the air discharged by the body controller is smoothly ventilated from the vent hole W3 to the vent hole W4.
