PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten metal transportation pump utilizing the principle of siphon based on negative pressure in a tightly sealed reverse U-pipe without using a solid valve to which non-metallic inclusion and the like tends to adhere. SOLUTION: The inside of a main vessel is tightly sealed by utilizing the molten metal as a fluid valve instead of the solid valve, and the molten metal is transported by taking advantage of the principle of siphon.
