<p>Lorry body is of glass fibre reinforced plastics, with no projecting cradle on the outer surface, but with polyester ribs connecting the polyester walls, the spaces being filled with pref. polyurethane foam. The angle between the sidewall and the bottom is made rigid by a key, which is a triangular-section prism block. Metal inserts are placed within the panels before moulding, to facilitate screwing together. The interior is covered with a layer of polyethylene attached to fabric.</p> |
