<p>Device for forming handles on pipes or sheets in a prepared hole consists of a screw with a wide head or similar device for turning it, having a longitudinal bore in it which does not go all the way. At the base of the bore means for widening out are provided which can be made to protrude sideways, without them being able to escape, or which can be made retract inwards, by means of a plunger situated in the bore of the screw. An outside nut on the outside thread of screw works in conjunction with it and is so shaped as to form a solid and permanent support against the pipe or sheet around the connection made.</p> |
