<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generation system capable of suppressing deterioration of a fuel cell body and of improving durability without increasing the size of a device. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell power generation system has the fuel cell body provided with: an electrolyte; a pair of electrodes constituting an anode and a cathode sandwiching the electrolyte therebetween; and a pair of separators equipped with gas passages for supplying a fuel gas containing hydrogen to the anode side and for supplying an oxidizer gas containing oxygen to the cathode side. The fuel cell power generation system is provided with a gas supply means for supplying, to the gas passage on the anode side, a nonreactive gas other than the oxidizer gas and the fuel gas within gases supplied into the fuel cell power generation system; a predetermined volume of the nonreactive gas is supplied to the gas passage on the anode side in starting the fuel cell power generation system; and the fuel gas is supplied after the nonreactive gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
