PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of drawing contour, ridge line and/or intersecting line, in which the shape of a three-dimensional object can be easily acquired. SOLUTION: A surface ID as different surface identification information is assigned to each surface of a three-dimensional object to be drawn, and hidden-surface processing is applied to shape information of the three-dimensional object with the different surface IDs to generate image information of the three-dimensional object. Image information showing a contour, a ridge line and/or an intersecting line of the three-dimensional object is generated using the surface IDs of pixels in this image information as information for making a decision.
