摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of quickly and stably aligning liquid crystal molecules in a liquid crystal layer, from a spray state to a bend state even without having to apply a high voltage, and to provide a manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: An alignment film of the liquid crystal display device includes a first region which is uniformly subjected to a first alignment in a first direction; and a second region which is subjected to a second alignment in a second direction substantially orthogonal to the first direction and in a third direction that is reverse to the first direction, with respect to fine regions in the alignment film after the first alignment. In this case, the first region may be an optically aligned region, or the second region may be an optically aligned region.
