PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an image scene moving in accordance with camera work has an unnatural movement in displaying an image of a video source corresponding to an aspect ratio different from an aspect ratio belonging to a display device in the image display device such as a display. SOLUTION: A frame image acquiring part 110 acquires a frame image constituting a moving image from an input video signal and stores the frame image in a frame memory 120. A camera work information detecting part 130 detects camera work information when the frame image photographed, and stores the detected camera work information in a memory 140. A conversion magnification determining part 150 determines conversion magnification on the basis of the camera work information stored in the memory 140. A frame image converting part 160 converts the display size of the frame image into a display size corresponding to a different aspect ratio according to the conversion magnification.
