PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a fast forward function and a skip function in prescribed time units require large operation loads and it takes a long time until a target scene is reached when reproducing the target scene rapidly during the reproduction of recorded broadcasting data. SOLUTION: A broadcasting receiver comprises a recording means 27 for relating data broadcasting update timing information for indicating timing when the content of data broadcasting included in broadcasting data is updated to broadcasting data for recording, when recording the broadcasting data; and a reproduction position determining means for determining a reproduction position based on recorded data broadcasting update timing information, when receiving reproduction position change operation by a user to an operation section 25.
