PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs for a coil product by easily, speedily and reliably connecting a coil terminal, using a terminal member by a laser welding means. SOLUTION: In a method for connecting the coil terminal; the terminal member 2 and a lead 3 connected with the terminal member 2 electrically are exposed, respectively partially by insert molding of ferrite resin and embedded in a base mount 4, the base mount 4 and a coil core 5 are integrated, and a coil 6 is wound on the coil core 5 to form a coil member 7. A part of the terminal member 2 embedded in the base mount 4 is exposed horizontally to the lateral side of the base mount 4. Regarding the terminal member 2 of an exposed part, an insertion hole 9 is bored by subjecting to burring processing and insert the terminal 6a of the coil 6 into the insertion hole 9, and the terminal 6a of the coil 6 and the burring processed part of the terminal member 2 are welded simultaneously by laser welding.
