PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element which has sufficient luminance, is excellent in stability and durability, can be increased in area, and can be easily manufactured. SOLUTION: The electroluminescence element consists of one or a plurality of organic compound layers sandwiched by a pair of electrodes, at least any one of them is transparent or translucent. In the element, at least one of the organic compound layers contains one kind of light-emitting polyether, and the light-emitting polyether is configured of a repeating unit containing at least one kind selected from among structures represented by a general formula (AI) as a partial structure. In this case, in the general formula (AI), Ar<SB>1a</SB>and Ar<SB>2a</SB>each denote a bivalent aromatic group, X<SB>a</SB>denotes a bivalent aromatic group having at least one or more condensed ring hydrocarbon groups, l and m each denote 0 or 1, s denotes an integer of 1 or more, T denotes a bivalent straight chain hydrocarbon of having 1-6C or a branched hydrocarbon having 2-10C.
