PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigarette butt collector capable of quickly removing cigarette butts and foreign matter locked or attached to an annular carrier such as an endless chain, causing neither stop nor dropout of the annular carrier and being sanitary and comfortable for a player. SOLUTION: This cigarette butt collector 1 comprises a cigarette butt receiving means receiving cigarette butts, a cigarette butt conveying means conveying the accumulated cigarette butts, and a cigarette butt storage means storing the cigarette butts; the cigarette butt conveying means 3 has the annular carrier body (the endless chain 32) rotating between one end 28 and the other end of the cigarette butt receiving means, a cigarette butt collecting member retained to the annular carrier body 32 and collecting the cigarette butts while moving from the other end to one end 28, and a driving means actuating the annular carrier 32; and this collector 1 is further provided with a cigarette butt removing means (a cover 5) disposed close to the rotating passage of the annular carrier 32, abutting on the cigarette butts S2 locked or attached to the annular carrier 32 and removing them.
