First (3.1) and second (3.2) cans are placed in a can creel (CC) (1) in first (2.1) and second (2.2) can rows arranged in parallel alongside each other. With a rectangular shape, the cans all have an identical structure and size. The CC is assigned a cable guide (20) above the cans and between the rows. The cable guide serves to guide the spinning cable as the cans are discharged and emptied.
