<p>The method involves generating a signal representing the acceleration of a vehicle using an acceleration sensor. A signal representing revolution angle of the wheel is generated using a wheel impulse sensor. An expected value is generated from the signal of the wheel impulse sensor for a physical variable representing the driving direction, where the physical variable is the speed of the vehicle. The expected value is compared with an initial value for the physical variable, where the initial value is determined from the signal of the acceleration sensor for the physical variable. An independent claim is also included for a device, in particular a control device for determining the driving direction of a vehicle.</p> |
