Accordingly, it is possible to increase the size of the sub frame (5) in the vicinity of the sensor (15). That is, the space which has been occupied by the sensor (15) in the vicinity of the spindle motor (7) can be used as a region of the sub frame (5). Thus, the shape of the sub frame may be enlarged as compared to the prior art. As a result, the mass of the sub frame (5) increases, which in turn increases the vibration suppression effect.
