A communication terminal having an ESD(Electrostatic Discharge) prevention function is provided to block the delivery of ESD into an internal circuit by switching a charger contact terminal of a battery pack, and to secondarily sense the level change of battery power by the battery pack, thereby blocking the ESD inside the terminal. A battery pack(10) charges an electric charge to an external power source(30) by switching/controlling so that a charger contact terminal contacting with a charger is connected to an internal battery cell(13), by sensing pressure applied from the outside when being mounted on the charger for charging. A main controller(24) is connected to an overvoltage prevention circuit(22), and senses a level change of battery power applied to the inside through the battery pack. If a level increases, the main controller switches/controls a delivery path of the battery power so that the battery power is supplied to an internal circuit through the circuit.
