An apparatus and a method for transceiving a data signal by differential signaling of three transmission lines are provided to remove DC power consumption and obtain a high frequency characteristic by transmitting the data signal through a capacitor which is added to a transmitter. A logical calculator(310) performs a logical calculation for a clock signal and a first data signal. A demultiplexer(320) receives an output signal of the logical calculator(310), the first data signal, and a second data signal. The demultiplexer(320) outputs odd data signals of the received signals in response to a first edge of the clock signal. The demultiplexer(320) outputs even data signals of the received signals in response to a second edge of the clock signal. A data state removal block(330) receives the odd and even data signals. The data state removal block(330) inverts a level of any one data signal of the received data signals when the levels of the received data signals are the same. The data state removal block(330) bypasses the remaining data signals. A data signal conversion block(340) receives the data signals outputted from the data state removal block(330), and changes the level of at least one data signal of the received data signals. A plurality of buffers(351-356) buffer a corresponding signal of the signals outputted from the data conversion block(340). A multiplexer(360) has a plurality of input terminals. A plurality of capacitors(C1-C6) are connected between an output terminal of the corresponding buffer of the plurality of buffers(351-356) and the plurality of input terminals of the multiplexer(360). The multiplexer(360) outputs an output signal of the corresponding capacitor of the plurality of capacitors(C1-C6) in response to the clock signal.
