<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch the operation speed/power consumption of a circuit constituted on a programmable logical device while securing generality. <P>SOLUTION: When a plurality of printers are connected to a printer I/F card and a part of sequencers in an I/F circuit is requested to be driven at high speed in the case of constituting the I/F circuit including a plurality of sequencers on an FPGA loaded on a printer I/F card, a part of the sequencers constitutes high-speed operation type I/F circuit constituted of sequencers including one-hot type state transition circuits (refer to (B)) on the FPGA. When only one printer is connected to the I/F card and reduction of power consumption is regarded as important, all the sequencers in the I/F circuit constitute a low power consumption type I/F circuit constituted of sequencers including gray type state transition circuits (refer to (C)) on the FPGA. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
