<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer controller, an image output unit, and a printer control method, with which high-speed printing is available. <P>SOLUTION: The printer controller 6 makes a printing control of a plurality of printers 7, 8 and 9 by respective thermal heads 18. In the printer controller, a calculating means 10 is provided which calculates a printing start processing time to be required by the respective printers from outputting of image signals to the printers and a start of image printing, according to temperatures of the respective printer thermal heads or temperatures in the vicinity of the thermal heads.
