<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that controls a credit risk within a reasonable scope while securing a user's convenience to a maximum extent, a control method, and a program therefor. <P>SOLUTION: Prepaid information is updated by subtracting a figure indicating an amount of use set for executing a function from a figure indicated by the prepaid information stored in a recording medium based on the function of which execution is ordered by an operation part. When the figure indicated by the updated prepaid amount information is a first threshold value or less, warning information is shown in a display part. When the figure indicated by the prepaid amount information is a second threshold value which is smaller than the first threshold value, or less, execution of at least a part of the function of which execution is ordered by the operation part is restricted.
