<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic assembly or a disposable device for separating a complex protein sample using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis, and an automatic operation step for device processing. <P>SOLUTION: The assembly or device comprises a carrier 5 such as a film, foil or glass plate with an area for the first dimension gel strip 7 and an area 16 for the second dimension gel strip, and communicated directly each other with the two areas. The assembly or device further comprises a two-component main body made of a hard component 3 located in a position variable from the carrier 5 and a thin and flexible soft component layer 11, the main body further comprises at least one slit or opening for external actuation of at least one valves 9, 10, and the valve is a soft component material corresponding to the at least one slit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
