PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition having high effect for suppressing shape change of clothing and excellent in high-temperature stability and to provide a method for producing the liquid detergent composition. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition comprises (A) a nonionic surfactant, (B) a cationic surfactant and/or a long-chain amine and (C) a higher alcohol, wherein the components (B) and (C) in a mass ratio [(B)/(C)] are (1/5) to (2/3).
