PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor in which the dimensional accuracy of a pressure contact part at a cylindrical part of a case storing and holding a stator core can be enhanced, and the case can be easily molded. SOLUTION: The motor has a stator core 4 and a case 5 in which the stator core 4 is stored and held, and wherein the stator core 4 is equipped with a stator 1 pressed to and held by the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 5a of the case 5 and a rotor provided rotatably in the inside of the stator core 4. The cylindrical part 5a of the case 5 has projections 5c axially formed projecting outward in the radial direction, and recessed parts 5d formed at a position, corresponding to the projections 5c and pressed parts 5e formed at a position other than the recessed parts 5d are formed alternately in the peripheral direction on the inner periphery surface of the cylindrical part 5a. At least a part of the pressed parts 5e is pressed against the stator core 4 and hold the stator core 4.
