PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geared motor that has an improved holding force to a shaft of a gear made of a resin with good engagement and that can be mass-produced. SOLUTION: This geared motor (1) is provided with a gear portion (2) fixed to a metal shaft (3). The gear portion is provided with a resin gear portion (2a) where the gear of a prescribed addendum circle diameter (ϕds) is formed, a flange portion (2b) that is connected continuously to this portion and formed integrally with the resin gear portion (2a) having outlines including circular arc portions (21a) of diameter larger than the addendum circle diameter (ϕds) and straight portions (21b), a recessed portion (21e) formed in the end surface (21d) of the flange portion, a passing hole (21c) that penetrates the gear and flange portions and through which the shaft is passed, a first metal fixing member (4) fixed on the shaft in such a way as to roughly contact the end surface (21f) of the gear portion, and a second metal fixing member (22) that is fitted in the recessed portion and fixed to the shaft having the outlines including circular arc portions (22a) of diameter (ϕdk) smaller than the addendum circle diameter and the straight portions (22b).
