PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a flash memory by efficiently enabling storage of the latest learning value in the flash memory. SOLUTION: The electronic control device comprises a first storage area R1 for storing an initial learning value of each parameter in the flash memory 13 and a second storage area R2 for storing a learning value newly calculated by learning operation. A learning value write processing part 23 additionally writes, when a control processing part 21 calculates a new learning value, this calculated value in the area R2. A starting processing part 25 writes the learning value of each parameter stored in the area R1 to a reference area Rr of a RAM 15 prior to operation of the control processing part, and updates a earning value in the area Rr to the latest learning value based on registration information of the area R2. The control processing part starts control using the resulting learning value in the area Rr.
