<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase maximum thrust of a linear motor while reducing variation in thrust. <P>SOLUTION: A core unit is formed by laminating two kinds of core material having different profiles and has teeth arranged along the axial direction at a predetermined interval. A permanent magnet is interposed between a plurality of teeth, and a coil is wound around the plurality of teeth. A stator 10 is constituted by combining six core units annularly.
