<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colorless imidized methacrylic resin composition having excellent folding resistance, transparency, birefringence of low orientation and good heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The imidized methacrylic resin composition is obtained by carrying out an imidization treatment of a methacrylic resin composition (C). Furthermore, the methacrylic resin composition (C) is prepared by polymerizing a monomer mixture (A) containing 50-99 wt.% of an alkyl methacrylate, 0-49 wt.% of an alkyl acrylate and 1-50 wt.% of an aromatic vinyl monomer in the presence of acrylic ester cross-linked elastomer body particles (B). In addition, the acrylic ester cross-linked elastomer body particles (B) are obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. of a monomer mixture containing 50-100 wt.% of an alkyl acrylate monomer and 50-0 wt.% of an alkyl methacrylate monomer with 0.5-5 pts.wt. of a polyfunctional monomer having≥2 non-conjugated double bonds per molecule and carrying out polymerization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
