PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a matrix effect regardless of a measuring item to improve measurement precision in a measuring container equipped with an insoluble carrier. SOLUTION: The measuring container, used in a method for detecting a substance to be measured in a biosample, is equipped with: an opening part; the absorbing element positioned in close vicinity to the opening part; and the liquid impermeable insoluble carrier arranged between the opening part and the absorbing element, wherein a bondable physiologically active substance for directly or indirectly capturing the substance to be measured is fixed in the insoluble carrier in advance, the simultaneous measurement of many items of the substance to be measured can be performed, and the insoluble carrier is provided in a dried state. The reduction method of the matrix effect includes a process for dripping an aqueous solution with a proton concentration of 1×10<SP>-6</SP>M or above on the insoluble carrier before the fixation of the physiologically active substance or at the same time in the measuring container for dripping a definite amount or above of moisture on the insoluble carrier before measurement.
