PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive automatic train control device automatically stopping a train by intervening to operation of a crew so as to stop the train at a predetermined position even if the train crew ignores a signal and a warning and erroneously operates brake operation. SOLUTION: A loop coil 18 and a relay 10 are mounted to an ID tag 17 provided near a rail and storing information regarding a front red signal and a warning device and a terminal of the loop coil 18 is opened/closed by the relay 10 in response to the status of a signal and the warning device. The ID tag information is made unable to be read by a reading device mounted on the train 05 making the loop coil in a closed loop at safe time. Whereas, when stopping is required, the ID tag information is made able to be read making the loop coil in an open loop and required braking instruction is given. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
