PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance unit for a liquid droplet injection device that is small and enables sure capping of a recording head. SOLUTION: A cap lift holder 41 is engaged with a maintenance frame at a first engaging part 47a and a fixed point (a), and also, at a second engaging part 47b and a fixed point (b) by two equal-length links 42a, 42b. A receiving plate 44 is formed at a right end edge of the cap lift holder 41. A cap support part 112 is provided at a position of the first engaging part 47a of the maintenance frame 111 or closer to the side of an original position than the first engaging part 47a. Even if a component force directed to the side of the fixed point (a) is applied to the first engaging part while the receiving plate 44 is being pushed when the recording head 10 is brought into contact with the receiving plate 44 from the left side, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of wrenching due to push-down of the equal-length link 42a since a right lower end part of the cap lift holder 41 is supported by the cap support part 112.
