METHOD FOR COLLECTING GOLD FROM ETCHING WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for economically and efficiently collecting gold from etching waste with a simple operation.

SOLUTION: The method for collecting gold from the etching waste comprises the steps of: adding a sulfite solution to a waste liquid of an iodine-based etching solution to reduce iodine, which has been used for etching gold; then adding a metallic powder to reduce gold remaining in the waste liquid; and separating the solid from the liquid.
