PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver whereby program information of optional digital broadcast can be browsed with a simple operation without the need for a user to change a program during viewing. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver allows a display section 23 to display program contents (contents of a program on a different channel) corresponding to an operated numeral key without changing a channel during video display in a way of interrupting the video display of the program during viewing in response to operations applied numeral keys (0 to 9, *, #) that correspond to channels.
