PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog/digital conversion apparatus whose error correction accuracy is improved, and to provide a highly reliable power unit for vehicle using the analog/digital conversion apparatus. SOLUTION: DifferencesΔL1 toΔL4 to a plurality of reference voltages are preliminarily calculated, an average value is determined when a difference between digital outputs corresponding to adjacent reference voltages is the same code and 0 is determined as reference difference of a digital output section when the difference is an opposite code, and a reference differenceΔL23 of a digital output section including a digital output LxD to an optional analog input voltage Vx is subtracted from the LxD is outputted as a corrected digital output Lx. Therefore, a proper reference differenceΔL23 of the LxD to Vx to improve difference correction accuracy, and the analog/digital conversion apparatus is applied to the power unit for vehicle, thereby obtaining a high reliability capable of highly precisely monitoring a capacitor voltage.
