摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor in which useless head retraction of a built-in hard disk drive is reduced, the useless head retraction being caused by vibration caused when a key of a built-in keyboard is depressed or shock caused when a lid is closed. SOLUTION: A shock/vibration determination engine 11 is assembled in an EC (Embedded Controller) used for performing keyboard-related control and the like. The shock/vibration determination engine 11 acquires a high frequency component from acceleration information in a triaxial direction output from an acceleration sensor 4 to obtain the level of vibration, compares the level of vibration with a threshold value, and determines whether or not the head of the built-in HDD 3 needs to move to an retraction area. When the key depression of the built-in keyboard 9 is detected, the retraction of the head due to vibration caused by the key depression of the keyboard is avoided by lowering the sensitivity of determination of shock/vibration.
