MASTER BATCH AND THERMOSETTING RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master batch affording a thermosetting resin composition in which carbon nano-fibers are uniformly dispersed; to provide a method for producing the same; and to provide a lightweight fiber-reinforced composite material exhibiting good mechanical properties. SOLUTION: The master batch comprises 60-95 wt.% of a resin component in the total amount and 5-40 wt.% of the carbon nano-fibers. The thermosetting resin having 600-10,000 weight-average molecular weight is contained in an amount within the range of 30-100 wt.% in the resin component. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
