PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool having a structure which enables no accumulation of cutting chips in a discharge passage for cutting chips. SOLUTION: The power tool, e.g. a bench circular saw, has: a motor 42; a housing 41 for storing the motor 42; a cutting blade 5 driven by the motor 42 to machine wood W; an inlet port 44b provided in the housing 41 and into which cutting chips flow; a discharge passage formation part 44 with a discharge passage 44a through which the flown-in cutting chips pass and a discharge port 44c discharging the cutting chips; a housing part 43a capable of housing cutting chips discharged from the discharge port 44c; and a guide passage formation part 45 provided in a vicinity of the inlet port 44b with a guide passage 45a communicating with the discharge passage 44a. A guide shaft 45c passing through the center of the guide passage 45a in a crosssection orthogonal to the direction directing from the inlet port 44b to the discharge port 44c and a discharge shaft 44d passing through the center of the discharge passage 44a are structured so as to be a skew position.
