PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device including rotary cutting tools for combining cutting and shaping operations on metal sheets. SOLUTION: The device comprises rotary cutting tools for combining cutting and shaping operations on metal sheets, the density of the cuts preferably being very high, the cutting operations preferably being integrated into an automated shaping line, and comprises a first pair of rotary cutting tools (1, 2) producing a first set of cuts ( 7', 7") and a second pair of rotary cutting tools (3, 4) completing and finishing off the first cuts by a folding (8) in order to obtain dropped projections. In the device, the final cut is substantially rectangular and has a shape of the dropped projection. The first pair of rotary cutting tools (1, 2) form the cuts (7', 7") on three adjacent sides of the rectangle, and the second pair of rotary cutting tools (3, 4) form the fold (8) relative to the axis formed by the fourth side of the rectangle.
