PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumable nozzle for electro-slag welding which can reduce the cross-sectional area of a bevel, thus can reduce welding heat input, and is suitable for the welding of a box column for building. SOLUTION: The consumable nozzle has an assembled structure provided with a nozzle body and a power feed part at the tip, and the nozzle body has a rectangular cross-section with a width of≥12 mm and a thickness of 5 to 10 mm, and spacers 2 arranged so as to be provided with a space (a) required for wire feeding are held between confronted planar members. Each planar member has a thickness of >1 to <4 mm, the spacer has a thickness of >1.8 to <4 mm, the spacers are arranged at the intervals of 3 to 5 mm for securing the space required for the wire feeding, the power feed part has a nozzle hole of >1.6 to <2.8 mm, the wire to be fed has a diameter of≤2.4 mm, and the nozzle body preferably has an assembled structure by TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding.
