PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspending device for a welding machine capable of elevating/lowering a welding wire feed unit without making a cable and various hoses for supplying the power and the gas to the welding wire feed unit be entangled with a chain. SOLUTION: The hanging device for the welding machine comprises a leg 3 traveling on a rail 2 provided to a shop base B, the driving motor 4 of the leg 3, a horizontal beam 6 fixed to the upper portion of the leg 3, a motor-driven chain block 7 capable of moving a welding wire feed unit WU along the horizontal beam 6 and suspending the unit in an elevating/lowering manner, a cable C for supplying the power to the feed unit WU, and various hoses H for supplying a gas such as oxygen to the feed unit WU. The cable C and various hoses H are arranged along the horizontal beam 6 and the chain 7a of the electric-driven chain block 7, and a plurality of parts of the cable C and various hoses H along the chain 7a are fixed to each other by a stopper 10 slidable along the chain 7a and turnable around the horizontal shaft.
